We strive to make every quilt as special as the person who created it

We are located in Huffman, Texas (a suburb of Houston). Our computerized longarm quilting machine produces edge-to-edge pantograph quilting with many stitch patterns for you to choose from. Most pantographs are done with a single pattern, but we allow you to choose two patterns for special effects such as "Advent" and "Ornament" or "Beanie" and "Mittens."  Except for T-Shirt and Memory Quilts, we do not create quilt tops. We work with quilt tops furnished by our customers.

The backing price is backing size times $0.005 per square inch using standard materials. The batting price is backing size times $0.005 per square inch using 80/20 batting. Machine binding is priced at $0.10 per parameter inch. Special services such as adding fabric are priced by the project.

 To Utilize Our Service

On the contact screen enter information for your project, and send it to us, or just give us a call at (713)419-6887. We will respond with a firm bid. If you accept the offer then prepare the top to send to us.

* Quilt top should be square within 1/4 of an inch

* Top should be free of loose strings

* No vintage quilt tops

* If hand-stitched must be tight stitching

*No glued piecing

T-Shirt quilt tops and memory quilt tops can be done, but it is best to contact us before ordering to discuss specifics. If the top is t-shirts or stretchy material, blocks should be stabilized with non-woven fusible material.

Both T-Shirt and hand-stitched quilt tops should be quilted with a simple pattern and can have some skipped stitches.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Fullness and/or puckers cannot be quilted out. Some fullness can be eased in, but cannot be guaranteed. In cases where excessive fullness occurs, the quilt corners may not be square once quilted.

The flatter your quilt top lays, the better the finished quilt.

BATTING AND BACKING

Batting and backing must be a minimum of 3 inches larger on all sides of the top. If piecing the backing, the seam should run parallel to the top of the quilt. If using a sheet for the backing, make sure all hems are removed and pressed. NOTE: High thread count sheets are a poor choice for backing as they do not accept stitches well and can result in skipped stitches.

We can provide batting (typically an 80/20 blend of cotton and polyester) and/or backing for an extra charge. If you prefer batting other than the 80/20 blend, specify preference in Contact form. If you are furnishing batting do not provide fusible batting

 The backing we provide is either unbleached or bleached muslin. If you want us to provide backing other than muslin you need to contact us. We have several sources for fabrics, and can generally find a special backing theme such as "nautical," "sports," or "western."

If you want us to bind (finish) the quilt include one yard of fabric. We will return the excess fabric to you. Binding is an extra charge option. If you do not provide the binding fabric we will contact you for instructions. Normally binding is machine stitched. Optionally, we can finish the binding with hand stitching so no stitching shows on the parameter of your quilt. Hand binding is triple the fee for machine binding. All projects are serge stitched on all four sides.
